This page is run by Airloom Climate Pty Ltd, trading as Airloom, 12 Ironbark Road, Newstead QLD 4006. This policy explains what we do with the information you give us when you book a repair, request a quote or contact the office. We handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. Information we collect

When you request a repair, ask for a quote or call the office, we collect:

• What you give us: your name, phone number, email address, suburb and postcode, and the details you share about your air conditioning system and the fault.

• Website data: the pages you visit, the device and browser you use, and how you found this site.

• Cookies: small files that let us measure how the site is used and remember your visit.

3. How we use it

We use your information to:

• Book a technician and confirm your appointment by text or phone.

• Send you a fixed price quote before any work starts.

• Follow up after a job, handle warranty claims and keep our service records.

• Improve this website and our service.

4. Who we share it with

We only share your information with people and tools that help us run the business:

• The technician who attends your job.

• Our booking, quoting and payment software, and our website host.

• Your system manufacturer, only when a warranty claim needs it.

We do not sell your information, and we do not give it to anyone for their own marketing.

5. Your rights

Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us to:

• See the personal information we hold about you.

• Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.

• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.

6. How we keep it safe

We store your information in secure, password protected tools and only give access to the people who need it to do their job. If something ever goes wrong with your information, we will tell you and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner as the law requires.

7. How long we keep it

We keep job records and warranty details for seven years, which is how long we need them for tax and licence reasons. Enquiries that do not become a job are deleted after 12 months.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Any change will be posted on this page with the new date, so check back now and then.
